Happy Holidays

 Greetings friends and family!

Whether December is your presumptuous friend who can't keep promises or a nostalgic pen-pal that always delivers, we hope you are at least enjoying cozy drinks, blankets, and music.

We've had a beautiful and challenging year including new jobs, a new apartment, a sister trip to Hong Kong (Golda's mission location), glorious walks with Woody, trips to Utah, visits from family, date nights, and more...

We are grateful for each and every one of you. Whether we connected over social media, in person, bonded over books, commiserated on the global events of this year, shared laughs or good food, or reminisced. We thought of you and recognize how you have shaped our lives.

Golda thinks of her students back in Utah, Nick of his fabulous coworkers and regulars from previous roles, our extended families, our friends far and wide, people we crossed paths with in airports, Golda's mission family, our new neighbors who admire Woody and say hi, grandparents who worked extremely hard to recover from awful car accidents and falls, booksellers who know what they're doing, Nick's clients at Black Castle Club, all the humanitarians and activists making this world more human and humane, our friends who have joined us in donating to causes of life and death, bus drivers who get Golda to work safely and Metro operators who get Nick to work safely, and YOU specifically!!!

We are also still mourning the loss of a dear, dear friend. Victoria passed this summer and we feel her absence every day. She was brilliant, witty, supportive, larger-than-life yet down-to-earth, adventurous, kind, and indescribably *her.* It's difficult to articulate what she meant to us.

As our souls sojourn through this bizarre, precious Earthside experience, we wish you joy and perspective and light.

Us being in love at a friend's glamorous wedding

My mom and Tolly visited and my parents went on a trip to Prague that we loved keeping up with virtually. My mom is my greatest role model and friend.

Our favorite people, Chloe and Genevieve, visited from France and we hit so many National Parks!

Baby Queen (my cousin's perfect daughter)
The best in-laws a girl could ask for, Sara and Emily. We had lots of fun adventures!

Dad and Xanthe visited!

My dad and I started a Father-Daughter book club. I'll have to do a whole post about it!

Nick being handsome (as we waited for the Amtrak that never came)

Said an easy 'goodbye' to a hotel where Nick opened their restaurant and bar as well as managed the cafe and crafted a KILLER cocktail menu. He likes working at Urban Grape even more!

Can you tell they're sisters?
INCREDIBLE architecture and houses of worship in Bangkok, Thailand. Golda and Ruby flew there after Hong Kong!
